Community service and charity
An education rooted in philanthropy.
At Thames British School, we are committed to giving back and making a positive difference in the wider community. Guided by the belief that we should leave the world better than we found it, we encourage our students to take part in both school-led initiatives and their own acts of service.
Community service and charity
Empowering every talent.
Through volunteering, fundraising, and community projects, pupils develop empathy, leadership, and a strong sense of social responsibility. From Primary through Secondary, our students take part in meaningful initiatives such as supporting Rainfer.org, which rescues and cares for primates, and visiting local residences to bring joy and companionship to those in need.
Pupils also participate in fundraising campaigns for Fundación Abracadabra or Save the Children and community outreach projects, including visits to care homes and collaborations with local social initiatives.
In our most recent Thames Miles event, the school raised money for the NGO Pato Amarillo, supporting families in vulnerable situations. Students are also actively involved in other social initiatives, including fundraising for community projects and visiting care homes like Caser to spend time with the elderly.
These experiences not only strengthen our ties with the community but also inspire our pupils to grow into compassionate, responsible global citizens.
Join our family at any time of the year.
At Thames British School, we are proud to be an inclusive international school welcoming students from 1 to 18 years old. We accept applications throughout the year and support each family at every stage of the admissions process.
